LOOKING for Election Day Hotline Volunteers...
Are you looking for a way to help Voters on Election day?
Are you interested in assisting Voters in a non-partisan, strictly educational capacity?
Are you ready to answer the call for help?
If you answered yes to any of the above, than the League of Women Voters of Philadelphia is here for you.
As you may already know- we will host our Election day Voter Hotline again this Election on November 2nd.
WPVI-6 is kind enough Host/Partner - once again- offer us their space, computers- air-time- publicity- and phone lines ALL DAY!!
Their are enough phone lines, each equip with their own computer & Internet access- for up to 8 people per shift.
PLEASE Volunteer for one or more shifts. WE do need your help.
We will supply you with all needed information about resolving any issue that we may receive a call about.
We have a resource guide. So please do not feel uncomfortable if a question is asked that you may not know the answer to immediately-- one of us in that room will have the answer.
It is a great time. Come meet other LWV members, volunteers & friends. Come to assist voters who may feel disenfranchised. Come be a part of this historical election.
Please note- you may be on the news. This hotline is help in the WPVI-6 studio on City Line Ave.

The League of Women Voters, a non-partisan and non-profit organization, works at all levels of American government acting on behalf of particular legislation and providing balanced information about all candidates for political office. The organization's name, like its mission, derives from the proud legacy of the women's suffrage movement. Today's members are women and men; any citizen aged 18 or older can join.
